The Agriturismo Il Pratone is located in Val di Cecina, in the heart of Tuscany between Pisa Florence and Siena.
What does the structure of the farmhouse offer?
In the old farmhouse you can treat yourself to relaxing holidays, pleasant weekends in harmony with nature, in an organic farm where the breeding of animals alternates with the cultivation of cereals, orchards and olive groves. Our guests can take advantage of the parking area, the barbecue with wood, a large relaxation area in which the generous swimming pool (12.5 x 8 m) is set and many outdoor games for children.
Is it suitable for children?
The structure of the Agriturismo Il Pratone is ideal for families with children, whose fun will be visiting animals, playing and running freely in the lawn adjacent to the farmhouse and swimming pool, walking in the woods waiting to meet wild animals such as badgers, turtles, pheasants , and observe a great variety of birds; remember that although the company is safe and easy to visit, it is strictly necessary that children are always accompanied by adults.
Is overnight accommodation possible?
Inside the typical cottage there are five accommodations dedicated to our customers. They are simple and comfortable apartments, three of which are named after our children, Giusy, Jasmine and Daniele. The apartments consist of 3 three-room apartments of about 65/70 square meters. with veranda and private garden, a studio apartment and a two-room apartment. All apartments are equipped with kitchenette, bathroom and independent heating.
What activities does the farmhouse offer?
Guests can participate in company activities, such as cheese processing or milking of livestock (at appropriate times of the year) with Francesco and Daniele, always available, while in the company of Pietrina you can attend typical Tuscan and Sardinian cooking courses.
What activities are there in the surroundings?
In the surroundings, plenty of space available for walks, excursions and activities in general; at about 5km from the farmhouse there is a riding school for trekking on horseback with Hanoverian sportsmen, accompanied by a certified equestrian guide, for adults and children and / or riding courses.
